Tower Meditation-Additional Concepts

The Tower Meditation is very adaptable and can be used for many different things.  One way to use it is the way described in the earlier post on this meditation.  But here are a few additional ways in which you can use the technique for slightly different purposes.

-When you enter the building you can imagine there is a basement which you can go to.  In this basement are all the things that you view negatively.  All the things you do not like about your life are there, and it is not an enjoyable place.  You only spend a brief time in this environment.  As you leave this floor you tell yourself that you are leaving these things behind for they have no place in the life you intend for yourself.   Instead, you are creating your ideal life, without these negative things, by working on the higher floors.  As you get back into the elevator you realize that there is no longer a button for the basement – you have left this negativity behind.

-You can visualize the levels of the building as stages in your progress on any issue.  You may have goals at work.  The first floor is your current state at work.  The second floor is a goal that you have for yourself.  You have infinite floors and can continue to build on your goals.  The higher you rise and the more goals you have achieved, and the more you will be able to see how much you have accomplished.  Make reasonable goals for each floor.  Spend time in the level above where you are currently at; this is the floor with the goal you are striving for.  Feel what it is like to reach that goal.  How would this change your life?  What are you feeling?  Are you respected by those around you and by yourself for what you are accomplishing?  As you accomplish your goal, move up to the floor above it and create a new goal.  Again spend time on this floor as your strive to reach this goal in your life.

Experiencing your goals in your mind like this, before you actually attain them in life, allows you to become more familiar with what it is like to reach that level.  You break down any mental blocks that may exist.  The more emotions, sensations and feelings you attach to really experiencing these goals in your mind, the easier the goal will be to manifest in real life.
